Everything you need to know about Kironoto.
Getting Started
Kironoto is a private relationship manager. It helps you remember the people who matter to you: their details, your conversations, important dates, and how you want to show up for them. Think of it like a personal journal for your relationships. Nothing is shared. Everything is yours.
Tap the "+ Add Someone" button on your dashboard or the "+ Add" button on the People page. You only need a name to get started. Everything else (birthday, hobbies, journal entries) can be added later.
The free plan lets you add up to 3 contacts with unlimited journal entries and interactions on those 3. To add more people it's $48 a year. One price, no tiers, nothing to upsell.
Not yet. Kironoto is a web app that works on any browser including mobile. It's designed to feel like a native app on your phone. A dedicated iOS and Android app is on the roadmap.
Contacts
These are three ways to think about how someone fits into your life. A Reason relationship is someone who came into your life for a specific purpose: a mentor, a therapist, someone who helped you through something. A Season relationship is someone tied to a period or context: a colleague, a neighbour, a friend from a chapter of your life that has passed. A Lifetime relationship is someone who has always been there and always will be: family, a best friend, a chosen family member. There's no right or wrong answer. It's just a way to be honest with yourself about the nature of each connection.
Yes. When adding or editing a contact, tap the circle avatar at the top of the form to upload a photo. Accepted formats are JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 2MB.
Archiving hides a contact from your main list without deleting them. All their journal entries, interactions, and reminders are preserved. It's a way to step back from a relationship without losing the history. You can find archived contacts by tapping the "Archived" filter on the People page. You can unarchive them at any time.
Go to the contact's profile → tap the Info tab → scroll to the bottom → tap "Edit contact" → scroll to the bottom of the edit form → tap "Permanently remove [name] from your Kironoto". This cannot be undone.
The five dots on each contact card show how recently you've been in touch. Five filled dots means you spoke within the last two weeks. Fewer dots means more time has passed. It's a quick visual way to see who you've been keeping up with and who might need a nudge, without any scores or judgement.
Journal
A journal entry is anything worth remembering about a person: something they told you, a detail about their life, a memory, an observation. An interaction is a record of time you spent together: a call, a coffee, a text exchange. Your journal is about them. Interactions are about the two of you.

HappyYes. On a contact's profile page there's a search bar in the Journal section that filters entries in real time. There's also a global search on the People page that searches across all your contacts and journal entries at once.
Yes. When adding or editing an entry you can add tags like "Family", "Travel", "Work". Tags help you find related entries later and give your journal some structure over time.
Interactions
Call, Text, Coffee, Dinner, Walk, Video call, Social gathering, and Other. You can add notes and a mood word to any interaction to capture how it felt.
Yes. Tap an interaction card on a contact's profile to open it. You'll see an Edit button in the top right and a Delete option at the bottom.
An optional word to capture how an interaction felt: Energized, Happy, Connected, Neutral, Drained, and others. Over time these give you a sense of which relationships leave you feeling full and which ones leave you feeling empty. You never see a score or a graph, just the words you chose.
Reminders
You can set a reminder from a contact's profile by tapping "Remind Me", or from the Reminders page by tapping "+ Add". Reminders can be one-time or recurring: weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually.
Snoozing a reminder pushes it back by 3 days. Useful when you see a reminder but the timing isn't quite right.
Their reminders stay in your reminders list. You can still complete or delete them.
Remember Me
It's a personal link you share with people you meet. When someone opens your link they see a simple form where they can enter their name and a few details about themselves. When they submit it they're automatically added as a contact in your Kironoto. It's useful at events, conferences, or any time you meet someone new and want to remember them properly.

Go to the Remember Me tab in the bottom navigation. You'll see your personal link and a QR code you can share or show on your phone.
They see a warm form with your name at the top: "[Your name] wants to remember you." After they submit they see a confirmation and a subtle link to create their own Kironoto if they'd like.
Yes. Each person who submits your form is added as a contact and counts toward your 3 contact limit on the free plan.
Relationship Map
The map is a visual web of the people in your Kironoto. You appear at the center. Your contacts appear around you, connected by lines. People who are linked to each other (for example, two contacts who are siblings) are connected to each other too. You can find it under "My world" in the menu.
Terracotta lines connect you to Lifetime contacts. Blue lines connect you to Season contacts. Green lines connect you to Reason contacts. Tan lines connect contacts to each other. Dashed lines show contacts whose relationship to you hasn't been defined yet.
Tapping a contact's circle on the map shows a small card with their name, relationship type, how they connect to other people in your world, and a link to their full profile.
Privacy
Nobody but you. Your contacts, journal entries, interactions and reminders are completely private. We never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and never share it with anyone.

Your account reverts to the free plan. You keep all your data but can only actively use 3 contacts. You can resubscribe at any time from Settings.
